During Earth Month especially, it’s important that we all consider the actions we’re taking toward sustainability. It takes all of our small, intentional efforts to create a meaningful impact. Choosing to reuse old grocery bags, recycling bottles, and choosing to purchase products with less packaging may seem insignificant in the moment, but when we remain consistent with these actions over time, it adds up!

 

New! Sustainable Packaging

At Equilibria, we believe in creating products that are good for our members and the earth. This commitment starts at our farm with our organic practices and hand-harvesting, and careful attention to the land we cultivate. We’re excited to continue to carry this vision of sustainability into our packaging and supply chain.

With this in mind, we’ve taken the first of many steps towards bringing you sustainable packaging! Starting this month, those who are subscribed to our Regular Strength 30ct Softgels will receive their Softgel renewals in refill pouches made from post-consumer recyclable material! Less plastic waste and lower carbon emissions (we sourced our packages locally!) result in diminished environmental impact, providing you with a CBD routine that you can feel even better about. 

When you receive your Softgels in their new gorgeous, eco-friendly pouch, don’t forget to transfer them to your original EQ jar or another opaque, airtight container. This ensures that you get the best of both worlds – sustainable packaging and Softgels that stay fresh for just as long, with less waste!

While we hope that you’ll give our new pouches a try if you’re someone who enjoys receiving our jars month after month, don’t fret! You can opt back into receiving your monthly jar of Softgels at no additional cost. 

 

How to Reuse and Recycle Equilibria Packaging

We know many of our members may have extra packaging from their month-to-month CBD routine products (which is one of the many reasons we’ve decided to take this step!). We encourage you to reuse or recycle these jars. Here are just a few ideas:

• Use them as containers for snacks
• Store your DIY body scrub
• Use them to bring travel-sized amounts of lotion, shampoo, or conditioner with you on vacation
• Organize paper clips, and tiny office supplies cluttering your desk
• If you don’t have a use for them, ask your friends! These small jars may be just what they’re looking for

 

Choosing to make a change toward sustainability, no matter how small, is choosing to become a part of something bigger than yourself, and we think that’s pretty incredible.
