Dosage Specialist

Note: this role is on-site in Chicago, IL.

Role Summary

Equilibria is seeking customer-service oriented cannabis educators to guide members through their CBD journey, from answering general questions to providing 1:1 dosage and delivery support. Reporting to the Head of Member Success (who leads the Dosage Support Team and educational efforts), candidates should have broad knowledge and experience in the use of cannabis, preferably with a focus in hemp-derived CBD or whole-flower use.  This role requires excellence in domain knowledge (with substantial training offered), and impeccable listening and communication skills. Stand-out candidates will have been in customer-facing roles in the cannabis industry and enjoy working 1:1 with customers to help them maximize their benefit from cannabis science.  

 

Role Specifics

  • Support member success through assigned member communication including 1:1 dosage calls, chats, and emails.  Answer any and all questions and recommend (with proper training and pharmacist oversight) suggested dosage and delivery routines, unique to each member.
  • Develop personalized solutions for Members by listening carefully to their needs and health goals and recommending the appropriate subscription boxes. Maintain accurate notes and records of member experience in database.
  • Promote safe CBD use through a drug interaction tool, and by encouraging open dialogue with doctors. Respect best practices for FDA rules on permissible CBD language and claims. Participate at events when dosage consultations are needed for the scope of the event (home salons, educational events, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in cannabis, with a close eye on hemp-derived CBD
  • Ability to escalate contra-indication and pharma-kinetics questions to in-house clinical cannabis pharmacist

 

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in cannabis industry — either in a dispensary or clinical environment, preferably helping customers discover health (not recreational) benefits of cannabinoids
  • Extensive experience in customer service roles, with both telephone/in-person communication as well as diligent email/chat support; excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional phone etiquette, responding promptly to requests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic, positive and friendly attitude and good listening mindset
  • Above average comfort with technology: experience working with software/ database technology to log information and manage workflow
  • Understanding that for women new to cannabis, this purchase process is highly trust-based, and authentic interaction is key
  • Genuine empathy, patience, and professionalism regarding mental health, chronic illness, aging/decline in health, and serious health concerns.
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain high levels of professionalism across the board.

Fulfillment Specialist

Equilibria is seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, seasoned fulfillment professional to assist with growing e-commerce fulfillment needs. Equilibria is a premium CBD subscription for women, offering custom routines of farm-to-home CBD to women across the nation. As Equilibria scales, we are looking for positive, extremely professional Assembly & Fulfillment specialists to manage daily inventory assembly, picking, packing, and shipping orders in our downtown Chicago headquarters. Co-Founders are serial entrepreneurs heavily involved in Chicago’s tech scene, dedicated to delivering an amazing experience to customers and building a delightful place to work.

Head of Digital Marketing

Role Summary 

The CBD market is exploding, predicted to climb from $5B to $24B in 2023.  With new brands entering the space every day, competitive differentiation, aggressive omni-channel distribution, and best-in-class retention marketing will set the winners apart.  Equilibria has already carved out an exceptional head start and is seeking a confident, visionary, data-driven leader to run all aspects of digital marketing — from acquisition to funnel analytics & optimization, to customer journey & retention. As a high-growth, recurring revenue, premium CBD company for women, Equilibria has delivered high double-digit monthly growth since launch, and is positioned to continue this exciting trajectory.  This role will report directly to our Co-Founder and CEO, and should have deep experience managing a cross-functional marketing team and ruthless media budget/ unit economic exigence.

 

Role Specifics

The Head of Digital Marketing will drive explosive growth for Equilibria, overseeing all areas of Equilibria’s digital marketing plan to hit aggressive 50% MoM revenue goals:

    • Collaborating with founders on brand identity and evolution 
    • Paid Media Management: display & retargeting on cannabis-friendly web sites, radio/podcast, outdoor, ad network, cross-promotion, featured promotion, etc. (+ social once CBD is allowed to use FB/IG/etc. ad platforms in the very near future) 
    • Influencer Marketing Management & Optimization, Collaboration with Head of Business Development to allocate budget and efforts across new and existing Influencer partners 
    • Manage all social media marketing and content teams to grow followership and engagement through organic channels (social, blog, SEO, etc),. Content Creation & Calendar Management, including developing limited edition seasonal merchandise campaigns with their own 360-degree marketing plans
    • Strategize and execute launches (via popups and private “movers/shakers”in-home salons) in key target market cities, collaborating with Head of Business Development
    • Build out Equilibria’s member Community with digital forums for members to share experience and personal journeys
    • Marketing Automation/Email Strategy & Execution
    • Customer Journey & Funnel Analytics
    • Product Marketing including Referral

People leadership experience a must as this role will manage in-house teams as well as PR/Influencer agency 

 

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years leadership role in multi-disciplinary digital marketing roles in digitally-native consumer-centric companies
  • People management of at least 3 direct reports
  • Must have demonstrable experience with hypergrowth, taking a company from the $1M stage to the $10M stage and beyond.

Role Summary

Equilibria is seeking business development managers with proven experience in sales and strategic business development roles. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, relationship-driven, results-focused leaders with a track record of above average performance in historical positions. This role is a unique opportunity not only to explore traditional wholesale opportunities with strategic partners nationwide (fashion boutiques, salon & spas, wellness offices, physicians) but also to prospect strategic partnerships who could refer Equilibria through events, pop-ups, and digital marketing efforts. Previous experience with wellness and/or beauty distribution a big plus! 

  • Launch Equilibria retail products in strategic retailers nationwide, where female target audience will be exposed to brand and our unique dosage and delivery service offerings
  • Identify and onboard relevant partners nationwide who can help spread the word about Equilibria through customizable marketing programs including:
    • Hosting shopping events or in-home salons (Equilibria to provide spokesperson for Q&A/ presentations as needed)
    • Sharing with  their network digitally 
    • Partner network will consist of thought leaders among women and include business and influencers within the following industries: Salon/Spa, Fitness, Fashion/ Retail, Medical/ Wellness, Social Media Influencers, Female Communities & Businesses

 

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in B2B Sales and/or business development roles
  • Strong financial and ROI focus (lucrative variable compensation will be a big part of overall compensation_
  • Strong personal organization and sales process orientation with experience managing prospects and progress workflow in some sort of CRM software
  • Positive and polished, able to represent this premium brand to like minded partners

Influencer Marketer

Role Summary

Equilibria is seeking a best-in-class Influencer Marketer, a savvy digital growth hacker with demonstrated ability to leverage this explosive channel across social mediums, predominantly Instagram. As a premium CBD brand for women, Equilibria’s growth and market launches are driven by collaborative partnerships with influencers (micro, macro & mega) as well as female-focused brands and wellness leaders. Each of these relationships requires thoughtful nurture and flawless execution and follow up. Successful candidates will have 2-4 of experience of Influencer & Social Media management for a consumer-facing brand, either in-house or within an agency. This full-time role will report directly to Equilibria’s Head of Business Development.

  • Manage and cultivate relationships from Micro to Macro level influencers across wellness, beauty, lifestyle, and fitness categories.
  • Design and execute influencer, press and celebrity mailings and seeded boxes nationwide
  • Help allocate growing monthly budgets to increase brand awareness, website sales, and solidify brand identity across various social media platforms.Help allocated growing monthly budget
  • Manage contract process for each relationship, including budget and timeline specifics.
  • Distribute merchandising and marketing materials – digital and physical – to partners.
  • Re-engage & nurture Influencer network with compelling ongoing merchandising, content, and new product launch Campaigns throughout the year.
  • Educate select Influencers on Equilibria revenue share opportunities. Create and manage unique codes for converted Influencers.
  • Track health of partnerships based on new member conversions, and overall commissions.
  • Following up with partners to maximize their monthly efforts and commissions.

 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Influencer Marketing
  • Impeccable Social media marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and flexible work ethic!
  • Experience managing workflow in some sort of CRM software (currently using Hubspot)
