Finding your perfect dose with a Certified Wellness Coach
Everybody’s body chemistry is different so there is no one-size-fits-all dose or routine with CBD. This is why it’s so important to work with your Certified Wellness Coach, that way we can help you every step of the way and find a routine that’s a good fit for you!
You might be wondering what to expect when you chat with one of our Certified Wellness Coaches for your free consultation. We are here to help guide you on your own, unique CBD journey. You can lean on as you take those first steps towards feeling better.
When we start out with your wellness coaching session, we like to learn about you, your goals, and your lifestyle so we can mindfully design a personal CBD routine that fits into your life and not the other way around! Are you looking for support to lessen daytime stress or more easily unwind at the end of your day? Is your main focus achieving more restful nights, so you can have more productive days? Where in your life are you hoping CBD can help? Hearing from and understanding you, and how you go through your day-to-day activities can lead us to identify the areas where you feel you could use some support from CBD – that way we can personalize the routine with your goals in mind first! It’s always important for us to work together to find the CBD routine that works alongside your already busy schedule.
Some folks prefer a more simplistic, daily routine and aim to maximize time by taking just one or two doses each day. Others may prefer taking doses throughout the day, multiple times a day to address their health needs and supercharge their day with the help of CBD. All of these things are factors for customizing your routine and personalizing your CBD dose! The best routine is one that you’ll follow consistently, day in and day out.
We always recommend starting low and slow when you are beginning to use CBD. Since CBD affects everyone differently, the best approach is to start with smaller amounts, then make changes slowly along the way and increase the dosage only when you need to. What might seem like a small dose for one could feel like a larger dose to another, which is why we have an entire community to support you in learning about CBD, your body and working together to find what works! Our Member Education team consists of trained cannabis educators, and as Certified Wellness Coaches, it is our goal to help women craft an ideal routine that works for their lifestyle and addresses the level of support they need. What works for your friend might not work for you, and that’s OK!
Tracking your progress
One thing your CBD routine will benefit from is a little patience and mindfulness as you begin to learn more and tune in to your body (a daily journal is an awesome way to check in with yourself as you’re getting started!). We always want to set expectations and encourage our members to remember that it can take some time to see the results they’re looking for. To maximize and truly get the most out of your routine, we want to start in one direction, knowing that there may be a need for some tweaking or adjustments along the way – that’s what our Certified Wellness Coaches are for! Many of our members have success with their starting dose of CBD and don’t need any adjustments along the way, while others may need to decrease or increase their dose to find their desired effect- it’s all about exploring and discovering what works best for you! Our Certified Wellness Coaches are trained for what signs to look for and can help you decide the right CBD routine for you.
Signs That Your CBD Routine Is Headed In The Right Direction
Feeling less reactive in stressful situations that would typically cause feelings of overwhelm
Having an easier time quieting the mind after work or before bed
Feeling more balanced throughout the day or more grounded
Having a less dramatic cycle, which could mean decreased bloating and discomfort, more of a balanced mood
Feeling well-rested when waking up in the morning and increased energy throughout the day
While it’s great to see your desired results in the first 1-2 weeks, we also want to let folks know that it does take time for CBD to work in the body. For more on this, check out our article on how CBD and the ECS work. We find that people often feel the full effects of their CBD routine after about 2-3 months of use (consistency is key!). Since CBD works with our body’s own natural healing process, finding the perfect dose will depend on your unique makeup and of course, largely depends on how you’re feeling and what you’re noticing throughout this starting period. A few adjustments as you find your ideal routine is perfectly normal – it’s important to us that you land on the right routine that will work for the long term. This is just another reason why we are here as your support system along the way!
